Propel Youth Arts WA – Communications Officer Role (3 Years - Present)

Propel Youth Arts WA, is a for-purpose organisation providing young people aged 12-26 with platforms to engage with arts and culture on their terms.

Established in 2003, I joined the team in 2021 and have had the privilege of being a part of the process in cultivating multiple youth arts events, heading the communications and marketing for Propel for 3 years. Amongst the big projects sit Youth Week WA KickstART Festival – Perth’s largest annual youth arts festival, and PIVOT – a professional development initiative for young and emerging artists, creatives, and arts-workers in WA.

Spearheading design works for KickstART Festival 2022 , and working with external designers for new festival looks every year, and building the Festival website on squarespace. You can view the latest edition of the festival here: Youth Week WA KickstART Festival 2024
