Dialogue in The Dark

About: Dialogue in the Dark (DiD SG), is a worldwide enterprise located in Ngee Ann Polytechnic that promotes social inclusivity of the disabled and disadvantaged. DiD SG is an experiential learning exhibition whereby individuals go through a first-person experience in visually-impairment. DiD SG attracts over 20,000 visitors annually, conducting tours, workshops and forums to individuals, families, kindergarten to tertiary level students and government and corporate organisations.

Experience: As an Exhibition Manager, I was responsible for the overall visitors’ experience overseeing the flow and safety of the attendees and communicating with the visitors. Working in DiD SG has allowed me to adapt and utilise dynamic presentation skills to speak in front of individuals and large groups of adults and/or children and has equipped me to adapt quickly to different situations. DiD SG was just the latest in the history of working with coordinating large audiences, administrations and marketing. Administration, Bookings, Coordinating out of exhibition events such as Concert in the Dark and Dining in the Dark.
